Property Manager Assistant

Our client is a boutique buyers’ agency specialising in acquiring and managing superior grade properties for their clients – local, interstate and overseas.  They place a strong emphasis on improving and managing their clients’ asset (their property) as well as maintaining impeccable communications with their owners and tenants equally.

This is a newly created role and an exceptional property management career opportunity.  You will have the chance to learn not only about property and asset management but about how a buyers’ agency and investments work – much more than in a traditional real estate office.

To assist in the continued growth of their Brisbane based office, they are seeking a property manager assistant to join their, small, close knit team.  You will receive ongoing training by the senior property manager and eventually have your own property portfolio to manage.

Working with a small team of experienced real estate professionals, you will be responsible for assisting with a growing rent roll.

As a property manager assistant, your day will involve:

  • Assisting the senior property manager with day-to-day department functions
  • Conducting routine inspections
  • Scheduling and attending open houses and viewing appointments
  • Processing tenancy applications
  • Communicating with landlords, tenants and rental enquiries
  • General property management administration

You will also possess the following:

  • A current QLD Real Estate registration certificate
  • A few months’ property management experience
  • Ability to work with technology and IT programmes – Console used
  • Willingness to learn & good work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Current QLD Drivers Licence & reliable vehicle (fuel allowance supplied)

Free undercover parking available in the building. Rare for South Brisbane. Hours will be Monday to Friday office hours and Saturdays on a rotational roster (for open house inspections only – office not open).
