Our client is a Principal with a more Melbourne/Sydney mentality where real estate salespeople receive a healthy retainer and it’s not simply commission only. He took over a rundown real estate agency over a year ago, rebranded it and is building up the rent roll again and looking to do the same with the sales division.
You need to be a current, working, residential real estate salesperson operating in Brisbane and settling an average of 1.5 to 2 properties a month. This is not a position for someone who has just obtained their real estate certificate and looking to start their sales career or someone from overseas who doesn’t know the local market or real estate legislation and processes.
You can list and sell residential properties from Auchenflower out to Kenmore, up to Warner and across to Kedron as this franchise is not territory driven. So, if you currently operate in this area and aren’t happy with the way things are done, lack of training or management style, then you must seriously consider our client’s offering.
As far as coming to the office, you can call in a couple of times a week. You are not expected to be there every morning and afternoon to show your face and prove you are working. Your time is far better utilized being out there talking to people, getting listings and making sales. That’s what good salespeople do!
